A peice of me

The infinite number of pathways life has taken me on, has shaped me as the mother, partner, friend & woman I am today. Forever chasing those star & inner soul dreams towards becoming the best version of me through self love, kindness & gratitude. Making way for the undeniable challenges along the winding roads, twisted trails, all writing my story with no such destination in site. 

I fell pregnant for the first time in 2018 & had my baby boy, Wolfe, via an emergency caesarean following a ‘stuck baby’. The circumstances that led to 'believed necessary' intervention, were due to my son not transcending through the birth canal, by way of being 'stuck'. My birth experience was far from what I had envisioned, that I grieved for the loss of what I believed to be a rite of passage into motherhood. I had my best friend there to photograph my birth, however due to lack of confidence & knowledge of my rights at the time, she was unable to come with me too theatre where the missing pieces of my journey will forever remain - the untold story of chaos that was my sons birth.

My journey to motherhood ignited a flame of interest in the world of documentary photography. I began studying through ‘Birth Becomes You’ by Monet & Jennifer when Wolfe was just 5 months old. There planted the seed that is Journey With Me Photography. Through visual storytelling, the moments of your journey are immortalised. The portal of undeniable power & euphoria that fills the room is deeply interwoven in your unique experiance. I dedicated myself to helping woman unveil their confidence, build empowered knowledge & support holistic birthing the way woman are perfectly crafted to do. This aspect of my service comes at no extra cost to my clients & is the purest form of connection, support & trust.
